Core Policy
Cores are the heart and soul of our company.

In Order to Receive Your Core Deposit We Ask the Following Requirement!

Photos Approval Required

Before sending your core, please email us clear, high-resolution photos showing:

  • All sides of the core

  • The throttle shafts and base

  • Any visible damage or corrosion

We must approve your core by photo before you ship it back. This helps avoid unnecessary return costs and ensures you receive proper credit.

Cores We Cannot Accept

We do not accept cores that are:

  • Seized or frozen

  • Cracked or broken

  • Over 30-days old from purchase date.

  • Incomplete (missing or incorrect parts, base, or linkage)

  • Heavily corroded or previously disassembled

  • Carburetor cores are like for like.

    • For example, if you purchase a 1972 Chevrolet Quadrajet, we require a 1972 Chevrolet Quadrajet core in return. Substitutes, non-matching models, or incorrect castings will not be accepted.

If you're unsure, send photos — we’ll evaluate them quickly and let you know.

Core Credit Guidelines

  • Approved cores will qualify for a core refund and a free UPS pre-paid shipping label (Lower 48 States).

  • Credits are issued only after the core is received and inspected.

  • Buyer is responsible for any additional costs if the returned core does not meet the approved condition.

  • International buyers are responsible for return shipping regarding core deposits.

Let's Make it Easy

We want this process to be smooth for both sides. If you have any questions or need help identifying whether your core qualifies, just reach out — we’re happy to help.
